DevOps Engineer
Role Overview
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and optimise the engine that powers our development lifecycle. Your mission is to take full ownership of our developer infrastructure — spanning initial design, ongoing development, daily operations, and end-to-end automation. In this role, you will bridge the gap between our software engineers and our hybrid cloud infrastructure, ensuring that our deployment pipelines are fast, secure, and highly available. You will also integrate and monitor AI-based developer tools to boost team productivity and documentation accuracy across our global nodes.
Location:
Budapest, 1054
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Design & Development: Architect and maintain scalable developer environments and internal tools across our private hybrid cloud.
- Operations & Automation: Manage the daily health of our systems while automating repetitive tasks in the software development lifecycle to increase deployment frequency.
- CI/CD Pipeline Management: Build and refine robust CI/CD workflows for seamless code integration and delivery.
- Kubernetes Orchestration: Manage containerised applications using Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and efficient resource scaling within our hybrid nodes.
- AI Integration: Implement and manage AI-powered development and documentation tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, automated code-to-docs generators) to accelerate our workflow.
- Cross-Platform Support: Maintain and optimise environments for both macOS, Windows (for our client-side developers) and Linux (for our backend and cloud services).
Minimum Qualifications
- OS Mastery: Professional experience managing both Linux (Server) and macOS and Windows (Development) environments.
- Version Control: Expert-level knowledge of Git and GitHub, including Actions, workflow management, and security best practices.
- Containerisation: Proven experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker for orchestrating complex, distributed micro-services.
- CI/CD Expertise: Deep understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment principles, tools, and best practices.
- Hybrid Cloud Optimization: Experience optimizing workloads for private hybrid cloud environments, balancing on-premise performance with cloud scalability.
- Language: Fluent English is mandatory for technical collaboration and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- AI Tooling: Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools or LLM-based documentation frameworks.
- Scripting: Strong proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go for custom automation and infrastructure-as-code (IaC).
- Monitoring: Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or similar stacks to monitor our Budapest and international nodes.
- Security: Experience with DevSecOps practices, including automated vulnerability scanning and secret management.
Benefits
- Competitive Salary: A top-tier compensation package tailored to your experience and the global market.
- Ownership Stake: Employee Share Options (ESOP), allowing you to directly benefit from the company’s long-term growth and success.
