Kishonti Informatics, world leader in performance optimization services announced DXBenchmark, its latest 3D benchmark solution for DirectX API supporting Windows 8 on ARM and Intel architectures.
DXBenchmark is a suite of 3D performance tests based on Microsoft's DirectX API. The new benchmark does not only measure DirectX application performance, but also lets direct comparison of DirectX and OpenGL 3D implementations.
Based on Kishonti Informatics' highly popular OpenGL (ES) benchmark family of GLBenchmark, DXBenchmark implements comparable metrics via Microsoft's Direct3D. This close relation makes apple-to-apple comparison between these graphic interfaces possible, as the content used by both applications is the same. Since the new benchmark includes the same high level gaming content and low level measurements, performance comparisons are more accurate than ever.
DXBenchmark supports current and future versions of Microsoft Windows products including Intel and ARM versions.
Like Kishonti Informatics' other popular benchmark solutions, DXBenchmark will provide a transparent and public DirectX 3D performance database free for everyone at www.dxbenchmark.com.
Preliminary version of DXBenchmark is already available for licensing. Final version will be released at the same time Windows 8 is launched.
High-resolution video of DXBenchmark is available here.
